Our Process

A Consultative Audit Built Around Your Organization

Every organization that operates a multi-line telephone system has a unique combination of locations, devices, network configurations, and workforce policies. 911ComplyPoint® does not apply a generic checklist to your environment. It evaluates your specific situation and produces recommendations and corrective actions that reflect how your organization actually operates.
The 911ComplyPoint® audit is built around four modules. Each module is available as a stand-alone service for organizations that need targeted help in a specific area. Combined, the four modules constitute the full 911ComplyPoint® Audit and Certification.

Module 1: Address Validation and Formatting

Accurate location data is the foundation of every compliant 911 call. This module evaluates how your organization’s address and location data is structured, formatted, and transmitted to your PSAP, and accounts for the specific requirements of your local 911 environment, whether legacy E911 or Next Generation 911. We work directly with your PSAP to identify and resolve discrepancies before they become a problem during an actual emergency.

Module 2: IT Operations and Worker Policy Review

911 location mapping is not a set-it-and-forget-it task. Every office redesign, network change, and equipment upgrade is an opportunity for location data to become inaccurate. This module evaluates whether your IT operations and worker-facing policies are keeping pace with the changes in your environment, including the mobile and hybrid workforce considerations that most organizations have not fully addressed.

Module 3: Safety Plan Integration and Centralized Notification

911 call management is an occupational safety issue, not just a telecommunications one. This module evaluates whether your centralized notification procedures will actually work when a 911 call is made, ensures that response responsibilities are clearly defined, and integrates your 911 call management practices into your broader occupational health and safety program under the ISO 45001 framework.

Module 4: PSAP Outreach and On-Site 911 Testing

Documentation review can identify likely compliance gaps, but only live testing confirms whether your system actually performs as required. This module coordinates directly with your local PSAP and conducts on-site testing across your premises and device inventory, producing detailed test reports and corrective action plans based on real-world results.

The Full 911ComplyPoint Audit and Certification

When all four modules are completed together, they constitute the 911ComplyPoint® Audit and Certification! This is a comprehensive, documented evaluation of your 911 call management program that demonstrates proactive compliance with Kari’s Law and RAY BAUM’S Act.

The certification follows a two-phase structure.

Phase 1 is the Process and Documentation Audit, a review of your systems, policies, configurations, and procedures against regulatory requirements and best practices. Phase 2 is On-Site Validation and Testing, live confirmation that your 911 system performs accurately in the real world across your actual locations and devices.
Upon completion your organization receives comprehensive audit documentation, a corrective action plan for any gaps identified, and the 911ComplyPoint® Certification.
The certification is not a one-time event.

Built around ISO 45001

The certification is not a one-time event. 911ComplyPoint® is built around the ISO 45001 Plan-Do-Check-Act cycle, establishing the ongoing processes your organization needs to maintain compliance as your technology, facilities, and workforce continue to evolve.
